Information the app processes
- Local profile and preferences: nickname, an illustrated avatar selected inside the app, language, appearance, haptics, and accessibility options.
- Game data: player names, rules, cards, turns, balances or points, additional contributions recorded, results, history, and resumable progress.
- Nearby tables: private invitations, seat credentials, shared table state, and encrypted recovery data. The app may store protected credentials in the device Keychain.
- Diagnostics you control: Vunari version, iOS version, and device category. This information is copied or shared only when you tap the corresponding action and choose a destination.
How information is used and shared
Local information is used to display your profile, apply your preferences, run game rules, preserve history, and allow a compatible game to resume.
During a nearby game, player devices communicate directly over the local network. Participants receive only the information needed for their seat and the public table state. This communication does not pass through a Vunari account or backend.
If you use the system share sheet to send a report, you decide which app, person, or channel receives it. Vunari does not automatically transmit the report or its text.
If you voluntarily email support, the mailbox receives your sender address and the content you choose to send. That information is used only to reply and help resolve your request. These pages include no forms, analytics, or tracking.
Device permissions
- Local Network: requested when you search for, create, or join a nearby table. It is not needed for Sietes against bots, Sietes on one shared device, or local Conquian.
- Camera: optional and used only to recognize invitation or seat-transfer QR codes. You can paste an invitation instead. Vunari does not request Photos access or save a picture of the code.
What this version of Vunari does not do
- The app does not create accounts or request or transmit your email address, phone number, contacts, or location.
- It includes no advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking technologies.
- It does not sell personal information.
- It does not charge, hold, or transfer money. Balances are a record that a family may choose to use within its own game.
- It does not intentionally sync profiles or games to a Vunari cloud. General device backups, if enabled, are controlled by your Apple settings and services.
Retention and deletion
Data remains on the device until you delete it or iOS removes its storage. In Profile & Settings → Privacy & Data, you can separately delete the local profile and preferences, family rules, or all game data. For deliberate and complete cleanup, use these controls before uninstalling; Keychain-protected credentials and general device backups follow Apple’s behavior and your Apple settings.
Deleting information from one device does not delete copies already kept by other participants on their own devices. The app warns you when deleting a credential could prevent recovery of an active hand or seat.
Security
Vunari limits its data to the device and the nearby table you choose. Nearby connections use an invitation secret to protect the session; sensitive recoveries are encrypted and credentials use system protections when appropriate. No system is infallible: share private codes only with the people playing at your table.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated before features that materially change data handling are introduced, such as accounts, online games, friends, remote notifications, or analytics. The effective date of the published version will appear at the top of this page.
